Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield, New Jersey produced the first-ever high school version of American Idiot, the Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer-penned rock opera based on the hit Green Day album of the same name. Mayer worked on MTI’s adaptation of the show. Alison Morooney, dance captain for the national tour worked with the students to bring Broadway choreographer Steven Hoggett’s techniques to the production. Masque Sound and sound designer Keith Caggiano helped to shape an authentic Broadway sound.
