About Us:
Aspect Chamber Music Series was established to introduce and promote a novel concert format, Music in Context, which gives our audiences an opportunity to discover new aspects of music. All our concerts combine refined programming with inspiring talks by world-renowned speakers and musicians, transforming the traditional recital into an intimate and thought-provoking blend of performance, speech, and image.

We are seeking dedicated and reliable ushers who can also assist with stage crew duties to ensure a seamless concert experience for our guests.

Position Overview:
As an Usher and Stage Crew member, you will provide excellent customer service and assist with production setup and operation. This dual role is essential in delivering a high-quality experience, from welcoming guests to supporting technical aspects of the performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patrons warmly as they arrive, answer guest questions, and direct them to their assigned seats
  • Examine tickets for entry and guide guests around the venue during the event
  • Assist with seating arrangements, including accommodations for special needs
  • Help enforce event policies and maintain a quiet, respectful atmosphere during performances
  • Assist in resolving any patron concerns or issues during the event
  • Provide support to the production team, including setting up and operating production equipment at the venue
  • Work directly with the Technical Director and production staff to complete tasks safely and efficiently
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management
  • Ensure the venue is clean and orderly before, during, and after the event

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • An appreciation of music, with knowledge of classical music a plus
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a guest service role preferred
  • Previous customer service experience is an advantage
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code (all event assistants are required to wear black)
