POSITIONS: OTHELLO Broadway Producing Fellow

COMPENSATION: $820.00 per week

TIME COMMITMENT: Full time, approximately 40 hours per week, exact hours vary

ABOUT US: Directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon, this production of OTHELLO will play a strictly limited 15-week engagement next spring on Broadway. Brian Anthony Moreland is a distinguished and visionary creative lead producer for theatre, film, and television. Lauded for his exceptional contributions to the performing arts, Brian has been profiled on EBONY's prestigious Power 100 List and honored as one of “Variety’s 2020 Top 10 on Broadway to Watch”.

POSITION OVERVIEW: This 9-week fellowship is a program that will offer early career professionals and interested students the opportunity to observe and contribute to the mounting of a show from its pre-production preparation through opening night.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks.

· Providing on-site assistance at the rehearsal studio and theatre.

· Support producing efforts during pre-production, rehearsals, and performances.

· Coordinate and run errands across NYC, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.

· Help maintain and organize office systems, files, and production materials.

· Conduct research related to upcoming projects, contracts, and industry trends.

· Participate in team meetings, offering input and taking notes.

· Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, reports, investor correspondence and production-related documentation.

· Manage communications with vendors, artists, as needed.

· Assisting with meeting planning and calendar scheduling

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Current student, recent graduate, or early career professional in theater, arts management, or a related field (preferred but not required).

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with acute attention to detail.

· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

· Familiarity with NYC and comfort running errands in a fast-paced urban environment.

· A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to take initiative.

· A passion for the performing arts and a desire to learn about producing.
