Join the magic of the holiday season as the Merchandise Manager for the touring production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical! We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to manage our merchandise operations during this holiday tour. If you have a knack for sales and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fast-Paced Selling & Customer Service: Maximize selling capabilities during two selling periods (before and after the show). Ensure accurate reconciliation of sold items after each performance.

  • Financial Management:  Oversee the operations of Square POS to ensure ease of payment.

  • Advancing Cities: Communicate with venue front-of-house contacts to discuss logistical needs and requirements for merchandise sales.

  • Managing Deliveries: Communicating with the home office to coordinate deliveries and confirm the contents to ensure all items are accounted for.

  • Inventory Management: Conduct detailed weekly reports on current stock levels within your booth and any back-stock.

  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other show personnel to foster a collaborative environment and seek assistance when necessary.

Qualifications:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Attention to detail and task focused.

  • Confident communication skills to engage with a diverse audience, including patrons, theater staff, and fellow cast/crew members.

  • Ability to think on your feet and address challenges as they arise, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Willingness to travel throughout the holiday season.

  • Proficient in POS systems.
