Wardrobe Supervisor

OVERSEES:
One full time dresser, multiple sub dresser

DESCRIPTION:
The Hypnotique Wardrobe Supervisor is responsible for running the day to day wardrobe operations of Hypnotique while being in communication with the Wardrobe Supervisor and the directors/choreographers of the show. Successful candidates will be able to effeciently execute quick changes, maintain organization in the dressing room, aid cast members in the organization and care of their costumes, and be the point person between the wardrobe supervisor and the cast. This position also requires candidates to maintain and alter all assigned costume pieces according to specifications discussed between the Hypnotique supervisor, the Wardrobe supervisor, and the creative/production team. As well as proactively mending or flagging any future damage or alterations while remaining in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Running each Friday night show or finding coverage to do so (with potential to add Saturdays)

Assisting in training new Sub dressers on both quick change tracks

Maintain communication between the McKittrick Wardrobe supervisor and the creative/production team

Maintain, launder, and repair costumes as needed.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

*Can complete responsibilities and duties under the following conditions, when working in show conditions*

Strobing lights
Continuous, large quantities of haze
Minimal to no lighting
Must be comfortable with performer nudity
Must be comfortable working in nightlife setting

$35.00 – $35.00 per hour
