The Costume Shop consists of a talented team of artisans who support Juilliard’s students in a professional atmosphere as they perform in a multitude of performances and projects across varied genres.
The Draper works with a larger group of Costume Shop Staff, developing patterns and overseeing the full construction of costumes from Designer sketches and research. As part of the Production Department, their work is an integral part of attaining our goal of providing the highest caliber of production experience for the gifted students for whom public performance is a keystone to their training.
This is a full-time, seasonal (42-week), in person position. Work hours are Monday through Friday 9:00- 6:00 pm with occasional night and weekend calls. The salary range for this role $53,500 - $54,500 annually.
