Casting Coordinator – YaYa Theatre Company (Remote/Hybrid)
YaYa Theatre Company, based in New York City and China, is seeking a Casting Coordinator
for its upcoming productions of "Heidi".

About the Role
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem solver with prior experience in casting
development and talent management. This is a short-term contract with the potential for
extension on future projects. The position is remote with some in-person requirements, and
would start immediately.

Qualifications
 Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or a coordination role, preferably
in theatre
 Strong organizational and multitasking skills
 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
 Knowledge of theatrical industry practices and production processes
 Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities
 Assist with casting for "Heidi" for Summer 2025
 Coordinate all phases of the casting process, including scheduling, booking space, and
liaising with the director, general manager, and producer
 Maintain clear communication with the production team to meet project requirements
 Manage casting schedules and track progress to ensure deadlines are met
 Handle administrative tasks such as preparing casting reviews, managing paperwork, and
processing invoices
 Support the creative team with casting research as needed

Compensation:
$2,000
