DESCRIPTION

Seeking NYC Actors to participate in our BOVTS Masterclass: Engaging Shakespeare, a three full-day intensive Shakespeare workshop in NYC. This workshop is an extension of the approach to Shakespeare that has been offered as a central part of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School MFA Acting program. This unique combination of voice, text, and acting tools is a means to discover a more fully activated, engaged, and human relationship with classical text. The workshop looks to encourage ways of approaching Shakespeare from a 21st-century perspective.

The workshop is most suited to those with some background experience with Shakespeare who are looking to further advance their capacity with classical text.
