SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in AN ACT OF GOD.

SEEKING:

GABRIEL and MICHAEL- two archangels intent on pleasing God and carrying out the Almighty's wishes. If they seem somewhat like divine chorus boys, that might not be far off. Gabriel sweetly reads scripture at God's prompting, while Michael deftly interacts with the audience. Michael later turns on God, and it doesn't end well.

GOD - CAST. God has come to Six Points Theater to deliver a new Ten Commandments in order to clarify what the Almighty wants from humanity. Through an exploration of popular culture and current news, and not mincing words, God engages us to reflect on the world today.

PREPARATION

Please bring one contemporary monologue of up to two minutes in length. When signing up for an audition appointment, you'll also be given a short piece to prepare (please do not memorize this piece). Bring with you a printed copy of your headshot and resume, stapled together.
