Second time in Moscow with Broadway Dreams and finding my way to the theater in the morning is a little easier.
Loving the food here in Moscow! Huge healthy breakfast to fuel an action packed day.
Checking out the beautiful MDM theater, the Stage Entertainment Russia house where we will rehearse and perform our show over the next 2 weeks.
First round of dance auditions. Hundreds of incredibly talented Russian dancers to narrow down and only 2 hours on the schedule to get it done!
After my technical combo, Ari Groover teaches a hip hop routine. We snapped this pic with the dancers that made it through that round.
Next up, the first round of principal singer auditions. Looking for our leads and seeing some of the top star talents from Russia's equivalent to Broadway. At the table with me, Annette Tanner (co-producer), Lynne Shankel (music director), Polina Bogacheva, and Alla Gazizova (Stage Entertainment Russia).
Coffee break at Starbucks, something looks different ...?
Dance may be the international language, but explaining the exact style I'm looking for is very tricky when communicating through an interpreter.

Dancer callbacks later in the day. Starting to get an idea of who I'm going to cast.
Lunchtime and I get my favorite. Yummy borscht!
Making some tough decisions with my fellow choreographer, Ari Groover.
Another cut.
Back in the casting room, everyone must quickly decide who the final cast will be. It's been such a long day but fast decisions must be made because vocal rehearsal actually starts in 1 hour!
Currently playing at the MDM theater is Dance of the Vampires. I found a cozy spot to take a quick nap backstage.
Ending the day at one of the stunning restaurants in Moscow.
HOW much do we owe??
After dinner we take a walk through Red Square and I snap some fun.
One last shot.
