If you've been following & Juliet star Betsy Wolfe on Instagram, you know that she's picked out her newest Broadway role—and it's literally any character in the Ragtime original Broadway cast reunion concert, being given to benefit the Entertainment Community Fund March 27 at the Minskoff Theatre.
Well, tonight's the night. Her case has been made, headshot and résumé have been provided to the creative team, 16-bar cut has been sung. And did Wolfe get the part? The Broadway favorite finally heard back from the team this weekend and found out she'd been given one of the show's best roles: audience member.
Follow @playbill on Instagram to follow all things Ragtime as Wolfe takes over to geek out about the Ahrens and Flaherty musical, and its incredible original cast—including Brian Stokes Mitchell, Audra McDonald, Peter Friedman, Lea Michele, and Judy Kaye, all reuniting for tonight's concert.
Wolfe resumes her regular role as Anne Hathaway in & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre March 28 (contract is long-signed and fully confirmed on that one).
