Let us be glad! Let us be grateful! Wicked star Brittney Johnson has announced that she is expecting her first child with partner Dash Kennedy Williams.
Johnson, who finished her historic run as Glinda in Wicked on Broadway earlier this year, announced the upcoming addition to their family via social media.
Johnson made history when she became the first Black actor to assume the role of Glinda in Broadway's Wicked full-time. Upon her exit from the role, she had been coy when describing what was next for her, beyond an April concert staging and her Birdland debut May 1.

Her other Broadway credits include Kristin Chenoweth: For the Girls, Sunset Boulevard, Les Misérables, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and Motown the Musical.
