Two Glindas, a Boq, and an Elphaba will walk into a bar (well, a supper club) for a concert presentation of the musical Birds of Paradise. The one-night-only event will take place March 18 at Feinstein’s/54 Below.
In addition to Julia Murney (a former Elphaba), and Alex Wyse (who played Boq on tour), Brittney Johnson (a current Glinda understudy on Broadway), and Alli Mauzey (a previous Glinda), the concert will feature Tony nominee Marc Kudisch (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Andy Taylor (Once), and Richard Kind (Curb Your Enthusiasm). Scott Schwartz (son of Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz) will direct the concert.

Birds of Prey, by Wicked book writer Winnie Holzman and associate conductor David Evans, tells the chaotic story of an amateur theatre group's attempt to put on a musical adaptation of Chekhov’s The Seagull. The musical originally premiered Off-Broadway in 1987.
Performances will take place at 7 and 9:30 PM; tickets are available at 54Below.com.
