News What's In Store for BroadwayCon: Tuck Everlasting, Great Comet and More Part of Broadway Season Preview With BroadwayCon currently underway, even more programming is being revealed for the three-day weekend that gives theatre fans an up-close and personal look at the artists and shows they love.

Playbill has partnered with BroadwayCon to present the event, created by theatre lovers for theatre lovers — Melissa Anelli, Stephanie Dornhelm and original Rent star Anthony Rapp conceived the event.

Newly revealed panels and performances follow:

"Next Stop Broadway," an hour-long preview of shows heading to The Great White Way this season. Hunter Bell hosts the 3 PM presentation on Jan. 24. Fans can expect to get sneak peeks at "Denim and Diamonds" from Found (performed by Stephanie D’Abruzzo, with Orville Mendoza); a discussion of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 (with a special video surprise from Josh Groban); and Tuck Everlasting (featuring Michael Park performing "The Wheel," accompanied by Chris Miller)

Playbill.com editor in chief Adam Hetrick and Music Theatre Factory artistic director Shakina Nayfack will co-moderate a panel on Gender Diversity in the arts on Feb. 24 at 2 PM. They will be joined by Sawyer DeVuyst, Em Grosland, Jax Jackson, Dana Levinson, Pooya Mohseni and MJ Rodriguez.

A "Theatre Adjacent" panel on Jan. 23 at 2 PM will feature Mark Fisher, Joan Marcus, Justin "Squigs" Robertson and Brisa Trinchero will "discuss their career paths and how they fit into the community even if they’re not always seeing their names in Playbills."

Critic Jeremy Gerard will host a discussion on the value of Broadway out-of-town try-outs on Jan. 23 at 2 PM. He'll be joined by Todd Schmidt, Eva Price, John Johnson, Hal Luftig and Jenna Segal.

Emmy winner John McDaniel will host "We're in the Pit," a discussion with other Broadway pit musicians including Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf, Alex Lacamoire, Peter Sachon and Antoine Silverman.

NY1's Frank DiLella will moderate the Jan. 24 "Adapting for the Stage" panel at 10 AM. He'll be joined by Hunter Bell, Amanda Green, Jeff Bowen, Quiara Alegria Hudes and Laurence O'Keefe.

Running Jan. 22-24 at the New York Hilton Midtown, BroadwayCon gives fans an all-access experience with performers, musicians, dancers, choreographers, writers, designers and more.

The $95 Day Pass provides day-only access to BroadwayCon programming (panels, performances, keynotes, discussions). This pass also includes the official program book (printed by Playbill!), a registration swag bag and access to the BroadwayCon Marketplace.

A $50 Explorer Pass will grant admission to the BroadwayCon Marketplace, allowing curious theatre lovers to browse through a host of vendors, shop for merchandise from Broadway shows and more.
