The Tony winner plays Audrey in the hit Off-Broadway revival of the Howard Ashman-Alan Menken musical.

Hall's Broadway credits include Kinky Boots, Tarzan, Dracula The Musical, 42nd Street, and Cats, along with her Tony-winning turn as Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

“I didn't realize how grounded that character could be and how heartbreaking that character could be,” shares Hall in a recent visit to the Playbill Studio. Watch the video above for her rendition of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's “Somewhere That’s Green.”

Along with Hall, Tony nominee Rob McClure currently leads the cast as Seymour, with Tom Alan Robbins as Mushnik (through September 25), Andrew Call as Dr. Orin Scrivello, Aaron Arnell Harrington as The Voice of Audrey II, Ari Groover as Ronnette, Cristina Raé as Crystal (through September 18), and Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon.
