As part of its centennial season, The Muny presents Gypsy July 27–August 2 starring Tony winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone) as Mama Rose.

Watch highlights from rehearsals for the Arthur Laurents-penned musical with music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, including Leavel singing “Everything’s Coming Up Roses.”

At its 11,000-seat amphitheatre in St. Louis, Missouri, Gypsy also stars Adam Heller as Herbie, Julia Knitel as Louise, Hayley Podschun as Dainty June, Jennifer Cody as Tessie Tura, Ann Harada as Electra, Ellen Harvey as Maseppa, and Drew Redington as Tulsa.

Rounding out the company are Kip Niven, Michael James Reed, Lara Teeter, Elise Edwards, Amelie Lock, and ensemblists Kevin Curtis, Meghan Faddis, Ciara Alyse Harris, Haley Holcomb, Zachary Daniel Jones, Chris Kelley, Evan Kinnane, Katie Pohlman, Jack Sippel, Gabi Stapula, Daryl Tofa, and Keaton Whittaker.

Directed by Rob Ruggiero, the production features choreography by Ralph Perkins, music direction by James Moore, scenic design by Luke Cantarella, costume design by Amy Clark, lighting design by John Lasiter, sound design by John Shivers, sound design by David Patridge, video design by Nathan W. Scheuer, wig design by Leah J. Loukas, and production stage management by Shawn Pennington.
