Moment in Time, a visual theatre piece inspired by the art of black-and-white photography, will play Off-Broadway's The Tank February 12–13, 2024.

Created and performed by Betsy Tobin and Michael Gunst, the piece is performed devoid of color as audiences enter the internal world of a black-and-white photograph, where two workers engineer the imagination of the moment. In this realm where black and white meet, simple stories are conveyed using puppets, masks, movement, and imagery.

The piece, featuring music by Jesse Manno, previously played the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, Colorado, earlier this year.

Originally scheduled to premiere in 2020, this production credits the Boulder County Arts Alliance, the Puffin Foundation, and the Boulder Arts Commission, a division of the City of Boulder, for partial funding.
