A concert reading of the new musical
Between the Lines is presented January 28 at 7 PM at the 92nd Street Y.
Producer Daryl Roth hosts the evening, which is narrated by the musical's director, Jeff Calhoun.

Between the Lines has music and lyrics by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, a book by
Timothy Allen McDonald , and orchestrations by Greg Anthony Rassen. Picoult will also be part of the evening.
Between the Lines , which was seen at the Junior Theatre Festival and at Kansas City Repertory Theatre, concerns 17-year-old Deliah McPhee, whose life is turned upside down. When the handsome hero of her favorite book literally starts speaking to her, she thinks she’s found the perfect escape.
