Jay Lavender and Jeremy Garelick (writers of "The Break-Up") have been hired to direct the new Dimension Films work which is being tailored to Fogler's talents. Todd Phillips produces with Lavender and Garelick as executive producers. The trade mag reveals Fogler's character as "a charismatic guy who makes his living as a professional best man. He is hired by a lonely guy to make his wedding day one to remember."

Fogler — earned a Tony Award for his turn as the magic-footed and lugubrious, but loveable, William Barfeé in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The actor was part of the original ensemble of C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E, the play on which the musical is based. He currently appears in "Schools for Scoundrels" (directed by Phillips) and has a number of turns in such upcoming movies as "The Marconi Bros.," "Good Luck Chuck," "Balls of Fury," "Fanboys," in voice on "Horton Hears a Who" and "Kung Fu Panda" as well as the role of a young Alfred Hitchcock in "The Number Thirteen."
