The Sara Bareilles musical will play the Maine theatre beginning May 9.

Viral TikTok dancing duo Cost N' Mayor (Austin and Marideth Telenko) have joined the creative team of Ogunquit Playhouse's upcoming production of Waitress. The Telenkos will choreograph the musical for the Maine company, with performances set to begin May 9. The run will continue through June 8.

The married duo has amassed seven million followers on TikTok and two million on Instagram, choreographing and performing hyper-synchronized dances to everything from the latest hits to the electronic jingle from Samsung washing machines. Find their work on TikTok here.

Adapted from the 2007 film and featuring a book by Jessie Nelson and a Tony-nominated score by Bareilles, Waitress was developed by and premiered at Massachusetts' American Repertory Theater before debuting on Broadway in 2015, picking up four 2016 Tony nominations, including Best Musical. The work made a Broadway return at the Ethel Barrymore following the COVID-19 shutdown in 2021, which was later filmed live and commercially released.

The Maine company is also presenting the world premiere of My Best Friend's Wedding plus Crazy for YouA Little Night Music, and Little Shop of Horrors this season.
