Now throw your hands up in the air, hit Broadway musical & Juliet is hosting a sing-along performance on Broadway!

Held May 16 at 7 PM, this is the show's second sing-along performance, following the November 2023 performance that marked the show's first anniversary.

Featuring a book by Emmy winner David West Read (Schitt's Creek), the score of songs by Max Martin is filled with familiar pop songs from the last three decades, such as “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling."

& Juliet opened at the Stephen Sondheim November 17, 2022, transferring from its hit West End run. Picking up where Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet ends, when Shakespeare's wife Anne Hathaway comes to visit him in London, she suggests that the lovestruck teenager's story shouldn't end in tragedy. What follows is a rollercoaster of laugh-inducing rewrites and a heartening journey of self-discovery.

In addition to the sing-along performance, & Juliet will celebrate the entire month of May with a variety of partnerships, including discounts for ticket holders from Rent the Runway, Chillhouse, Romeo’s NYC, Juliet Wine, and Hershey’s Chocolate World; and special menu items at Pink Taco, Schmackary’s, Bar Mexicana, and Mermaid Oyster Bar; along with several surprise activations at the Sondheim Theatre for select performances throughout the month.

The current cast of & Juliet on Broadway includes Tony nominee Lorna Courtney as Juliet, three-time Olivier winner David Bedella as Lance, Tony nominee Betsy Wolfe as Anne Hathaway, Austin Scott as Shakespeare, Justin David Sullivan as May, Charity Angél Dawson as Angélique, Ben Jackson Walker as Romeo, and Philippe Arroyo as Francois.

They are supported by Daniel Assetta, Andrew Chappelle, Michael Iván Carrier, Phil Colgan, Virgil Gadson, Makai Hernandez, Najah Hetsberger, Bobby “Pocket” Horner, Joomin Hwang, Megan Kane, Alaina Vi Maderal, Daniel J. Maldonado, Brittany Nicholas, Ava Noble, Jasmine Rafael, Matt Raffy, Tiernan Tunnicliffe, and Rachel Webb

As previously announced, Maya Boyd will take over the title role on May 14; Lorna Courtney will play her final performance on May 12, 2024. Boyd will be Juliet for the sing-along performance.

Jared Janas. Bill Sherman serves as musical supervisor, orchestrator, and arranger, with Dominic Fallacaro as music director. Casting is by Stephen Kopel and Carrie Gardner.
