Wildhorn made his Broadway debut in 1997 with Jekyll & Hyde , which ran for nearly four years at the Schoenfeld.
His Scarlet Pimpernel opened the same year at the Minskoff Theatre. It would close and "re-boot" twice , with changes to score and script and new lead actors, before ending its run in 2000.
Other Broadway composing credits include The Civil War (1999), Dracula (2004), Wonderland (2010) and Bonnie & Clyde (2011). Frank also wrote additional songs for the Broadway version of Victor/Victoria .
