New Recordings The Norm Lewis Christmas Album Now Available Lewis is joined by Darius de Haas, Mykal Kilgore, Destan Owens on the new holiday recording.

Tony nominee Norm Lewis, recently seen in the Emmy-winning NBC broadcast of Jesus Christ Superstar Live, has just released The Norm Lewis Christmas Album physically and digitally.

The Broadway favorite welcomes several guest vocalists, including his cousin Pastor Bobby Lewis for a duet on “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and theatre pals Darius de Haas, Mykal Kilgore, and Destan Owens on “Why Couldn't It Be Christmas Every Day?”

Lewis is also joined by his musical director, Joseph Joubert, as well as George Farmer on electric and upright bass and Perry Cavari on percussion and drums.

Produced by director Richard Jay-Alexander and Lewis, The Norm Lewis Christmas Album is executive-produced by Jeremy Katz.

In a previous statement, Lewis said, “It’s amazing when you imagine something and then it actually happens. It was always my dream to do a Christmas album. In my house growing up, the holidays were filled with music from people like Johnny Mathis, The Supremes, Nat King Cole and many others. But now that I’ve finished this recording and I hold it in my hand, it just makes me smile.”

Lewis will celebrate the new recording with his annual holiday shows at Feinstein's/54 Below. Entitled Nutcracker Cool, concerts are scheduled for December 17-22 at 7 PM. Click here for ticket information.
