The Union Theatre—a fringe theatre in South London near the Old Vic and Young Vic, which has been in existence 18 years—is relocating to brand-new premises across the street from its current location. It is reviving its 2012 production of Dana P. Rowe and John Dempsey's musical The Fix to launch the new theatre, beginning performances July 13 prior to an official opening July 15, for a run through August 6.

The Fix premiered at London's Donmar Warehouse Theatre in 1997, under the direction of Sam Mendes and featured a cast that was led by John Barrowman, Philip Quast (who won an Olivier Award for his performance) and Kathryn Evans. It subsequently received its U.S. premiere at Arlington's Signature Theatre in 1998, directed by Eric D. Schaeffer, who revived it at the new Signature Theatre in 2015.

The musical, which offers a fictionalized version of a dynastic American political family, revolves around the widow of a presidential candidate who thrusts her son Cal into the spotlight to replace him.

Produced by Alexander J. Parker for Atomicus Entertainment and directed by Michael Strassen, it will star Fra Fee as Cal with Lucy Williamson as Violet Chandler, Madena Alberto as Tina McCoy and Ken Christiansen as Graeme Chandler. The cast will also include Peter Saul Blewden, Alastair Hill, Sam Barrett, Francesca Leyland, Laura Bryars, Daryl Armstrong and Rhys Benjamin.
