Talent agency A3 Artists has been forced to shut down following lawsuits filed against majority owner Adam Bold by his partners, per a report in Variety. The New York- and Los Angeles–based firm, which counts several Broadway notables on its client list, will reportedly cease operations February 12.
The agency's online client list includes such stage names as Christy Altomare, Iain Armitage, John Behlmann, Heidi Blickenstaff, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Laura Bell Bundy, Damon Daunno, Mike Faist, Judith Ivey, Jai'Len Josey, Judy Kaye, Eddie Korbich, Michael Mulheren, Patti Murin, Brad Oscar, Conrad Ricamora, Nic Rouleau, Josh Segarra, Miriam Shor, Christopher Sieber, Ethan Slater, Elizabeth Stanley, Allie Trimm, Brandon Uranowitz, and Jenna Ushkowitz, among others. It was not immediately clear when the list was last updated.
Variety reports that the lawsuits allege that Bold "squandered everything," ruining the business and plunging it into chaos.
It remains unclear if a new agency will emerge from A3's ashes or if its clients will be forced to find new representation.
