The Cher Show, the new Broadway-bound musical about the life and career of the multi-hyphenate artist known for her hit albums and award-winning film roles, officially opened in Chicago June 28 at the Oriental Theatre, where performances continue through July 15.

Directed by Jason Moore (Avenue Q, Pitch Perfect), The Cher Show features a book by Jersey Boys Tony Award winner Rick Elice and costumes by designer Bob Mackie, who has collaborated with Cher over the years on myriad iconic looks, dating back to her 1967 appearance on The Carol Burnett Show.

The Cher Show will arrive on Broadway November 1 at the Neil Simon Theatre prior to a December 3 opening night.
