TV Land’s hit series Younger will return for a seventh season. The comedy, which premiered its sixth season June 12, stars two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Liza Miller, a 40-something mom who passes as a 20-something to restart her career in publishing. With the announcement of yet another season, Younger becomes the network's longest-running original series.
Six seasons in, the cat is (mostly) out of the bag, but the show has found inventive new ways to engage audiences in Liza’s quest to balance career, love life, motherhood, and friendships.
“Season after season, Younger has continued to reach new heights and build an incredibly loyal fan base,” said Keith Cox, president, development and production of Paramount Network and TV Land in a statement. “We love this talented and amazing cast and can’t wait to see what Darren has in store for season seven.”
The company also features Hilary Duff as Kelsey, Miriam Shor as Diana, Nico Tortorella as Josh, Peter Hermann as Charles, Molly Bernard as Lauren, Debi Mazar as Maggie, and Charles Michael Davis as Zane.
Though she's been away from Broadway, audiences see more and more of Foster's triple threat prowess as the series continues. She most recently sang in the Season 6 premiere and is set for a showstopping dance sequence in the July 24 episode.
