Passengers aboard Broadway on the High Seas 6, which launched from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Feb. 12 bound for St. Barts, Barbados, St. Lucia and the U.S. Virgin Islands, were ready for the star performers featured on the bill. They weren’t, however, prepared for the surprise celebrity guests that populate the ship’s manifesto!
Stage and television star Mark Linn-Baker had a busy year last season doing double duty on Broadway in the hit revival of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s You Can’t Take It With You and the spring debut of the classic Cy Coleman, Betty Comden and Adolph Green musical comedy On the Twentieth Century. Linn-Baker and his wife, singer Christa Justus, join longtime friend and colleague Lewis Black onboard Broadway on the High Seas 6.
Also on the guest list is two-time SAG winner Bryan Batt. Television fans know Batt from his role on the hit AMC series “Mad Man,” but theatre fans know him for the decades he spent on Broadway in shows like the original Cats, Starlight Express, Beauty and the Beast, Sunset Boulevard, Saturday Night Fever and Seussical. Batt will reunite with former Forbidden Broadway co-star Christine Pedi for a special onboard surprise yet to be revealed!
And finally, passengers were surprised to see two-time Tony nominee Howard McGillin boarding the Silver Wind. McGillin, a two-time Broadway on the High Seas performer and the longest-running Phantom on Broadway, came to the ship fresh from the set of “The Good Wife.”
