Playbill is teaming up with Gilead Sciences to commemorate World AIDS Day with Storytellers. This new video series will be featured daily on Playbill from December 3-6, and will serve as a fundraiser for Broadway Cares.

The series will feature song and story performances from Mark MacKillop (Anastasia), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Chicago), Jason Veasey (A Strange Loop), and Joe Barros (Gigi).

Storytellers will be available on Playbill and Playbill's YouTube channel, both including a donation button inviting viewers to contribute to Broadway Cares, which works to provide meals, medication, healthcare, and hope for those in need across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C. The video series and live event are made possible by premier sponsor Gilead Sciences and in part by the Michelangelo Hotel.

Playbill and Gilead hosted an in-person “Toast to Tom Viola” reception at the Michelangelo Hotel November 25, featuring all of the Storytellers and musical performances by Alysha Umphress (On the Town) and Jessica Vosk (Wicked). Dean DiMarzo provided music direction and Rachel Kaufman was featured on piano.
