PBS genealogy series Finding Your Roots will premiere its 11th season January 7, 2025, and a new trailer reveals that some Broadway favorites are among the special guests in the upcoming new episodes.

The season's line-up includes stage stars Kristen Bell, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Imperioli, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Lea Salonga, and Amanda Seyfried, along with José Andrés, Joy Behar, Rubén Blades, Lonnie Bunch, Rita Dove, Natalie Morales, Melanie Lynskey, Dax Shepard, Sean Sherman, Sharon Stone, Amy Tan, and Chrissy Teigen.

The series sees host Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and a team of genealogical detectives to use historical archives and cutting-edge DNA analysis to trace the family trees of celebrities, uncovering compelling and often unknown stories from their ancestry. Gates' team includes DNA expert CeCe More and geneaologists Nick Sheedy, Kimberly N. Morgan, and Akosua Moore.

Salonga, a Tony winner for the original production of Miss Saigon, will be featured in the season's kick-off episode January 7, 2025 along with Seyfried.
