Broadway favorites Kelli O'Hara, Ephraim Sykes, and Denée Benton performed songs from The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical at Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear's one-night-only concert July 26 at the Kennedy Center. The concert was directed by Sammi Cannold. The performance and the musical have subsequently become the target of a lawsuit from Netflix, producer of the Bridgerton series from which the musical was adapted without permission. Written by the Grammy Award-winning duo Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, the concert also included special guests Solea Pfeiffer, Micaela Diamond, Jason Gotay, Darlesia Cearcy and was accompanied by The National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Steven Reineke
