Singer-songwriter Scott Alan is to return to the stage for the first time in over a year, to perform the debut of his new one-man show, The Journey: My Story Through Music, running December 27-30 at Crazy Coqs cabaret room at Brasserie Zedel, where he is also artistic director in residence.
The show, featuring book, music and lyrics by Alan, is described as "a journey through mental illness, sexuality, a life altering diagnosis and an unwavering love affair for British men."
Alan will also help celebrate New Year's Eve in the room with an evening of performances accompanied by surprise guests.
Most recently, Alan released his seventh album of material featuring 2016 Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple) and Oliver Tompsett (most recently seen in the West End in Guys and Dolls as Sky Masterson). Previous albums include Dreaming Wide Awake, Keys, What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up, Live and Anything Worth Holding On To.
