On the final episode of Playbill's The Tyler Mount Vlog, Mount sits down with Sam Clemmett, star of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two, now continuing its Tony-nominated run at the Lyric Theatre. Watch the episode above.
Clemmett, who plays Albus Potter, opens up about the pressure of bringing an all new Potter character to life, the biggest difference between performing the show on Broadway and in the West End, and why ultimately Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is “the most fun” he’s ever had in his life.
Clemmett, who was part of the original London company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is currently making his Broadway debut. His other credits include Royal Shakespeare Company’s Wendy & Peter, Lord of the Flies at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Accolade at St. James Theatre, Nivelli’s War at The MAC, and Wink at Theatre503. He’s been seen on television in Endeavour, The Musketeers, Murder Games: The Life and Death of Breck Bednar, and Ken Loach’s Star Wars, among others.
