Reviews are in for Ed. Weinberger's new comedy Two Jews, Talking starring Tony and Emmy winner Hal Linden (The Rothschilds, Barney Miller, The Scottsboro Boys) and TV veteran Bernie Kopell (The Love Boat, Get Smart, That Girl). The world premiere, directed by Obie winner Dan Wackerman, opened at Off-Broadway's Theatre at St. Clement's August 29 after beginning previews August 20.
The two one-act plays bring together two pairs: Lou and Bud together in the Biblical past, as well as Phil and Marty in contemporary Long Island. They philosophize about women, sex, food, the divine, and destiny in this tale of companionship and friendship.
