This year, the event honored the 50th anniversary of the original Broadway production of West Side Story. Jackie Hoffman, Bob Saget and Mary Testa were on hand to host the production, which raised a record $3,927,110 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The Color Purple was awarded the prize for Best Skit, while the national touring company of Jersey Boys raised the most money for the charity.
