59E59 Theaters and Prospect Theater Company present the limited engagement through March 29.

Long Story Short is adapted from David Schulner's play An Infinite Ache by GrooveLily songwriters Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda.

Directed by Kent Nicholson, the piece will star Sun (If/Then, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Next to Normal) as Hope and Ryness (First Date, Leap Of Faith, Hair) as Charles.

An opening night and design team will be announced at a later date.

According to press notes, "Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda (Striking 12) turn David Schulner's play An Infinite Ache into a touching melodic pop-rock musical. A funny, frazzled couple — one Jewish, one Asian-American — careens from first date to old age, illuminating the challenges and joys of a life-time of love."

59E59 Theaters is under the artistic direction of Elysabeth Kleinhans, executive producer Peter Tear and managing director Brian Beirne.

59E59 Theaters is located at 59 East 59th Street (between Park and Madison Avenues). Tickets are $50 ($35 for 59E59 members). For more information and tickets, call (212) 279-4200 or visit 59E59.org.
