Page 73 has announced a one-night-only reading of Clare Barron's Obie Award-winning play You Got Older, featuring the original cast of the world premiere production. The reading is set for November 10 at 8:00 PM at The Shed, in celebration of Page 73's 25th anniversary.

Anne Kauffman, who helmed the premiere production, will direct the reading. You Got Older was written in 2014 during Barron's Page 73 Playwriting Fellowship, and exemplifies the company's mission. Proceeds from the reading will fund Page 73's endeavors to support early-career playwrights. 

The benefit reading cast will include Tony winner Reed Birney (The Humans), Brooke Bloom (FX's Kindred), Emmy nominee William Jackson Harper (NBC's The Good Place), Keilly McQuail (HBO's And Just Like That...) Michael Schantz (Sam Gold’s Othello), Ted Schneider (Darko Tresnjak’s The Merchant of Venice), and Tony winner Miriam Silverman (The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window). 

“Since Page 73’s premiere, Clare’s play about a woman moving in with her ailing father as she herself requires some caretaking has found an audience across the country and around the world," Page 73 Artistic Director Michael Walkup says. "You Got Older hasn’t yet had a second production in New York City, and it’s a dream to share this work here again. To be reuniting our original team makes this a joyous occasion with which to celebrate Page 73’s first 25 years.”

Page 73 was founded in 1997 to support early-career playwrights and expand the theatrical canon. The organization exclusively mounts works by writers who have not yet had an Off-Broadway premiere, and provides opportunities including a Playwriting Fellowship, a new biweekly writers group each year, and more.
