A new revival of Mel Brooks’ Tony-winning musical adaptation of his classic film comedy The Producers will play London's Menier Chocolate Factory beginning November 26.

Directed by Patrick Marber, the hit musical will officially open December 9 for a limited engagement through March 1, 2025. Casting, additional creative team members, and ticket information will be announced at a later date.

The Producers, which won a record-breaking 12 2001 Tony Awards, features music and lyrics by Brooks and a book by Brooks and Thomas Meehan. The musical follows two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Complications ensue when the show unexpectedly turns out to be successful. Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, and Cady Huffman opened the original Broadway production.

The London venue has also announced casting for its upcoming production of Arthur Wing Pinero’s The Cabinet Minister. Directed by Paul Foster, previews will begin September 21 prior to an official opening September 27.

Nancy Carroll, who penned the adaptation, will also star as Lady Katherine Twombley, joined by George Blagden as Valentine White, Joe Edgar as Brook Twombley, Pheobe Fildes as Fanny Lacklustre, Rosalind Forbes as Imogen Twombley, Dom Hodson as Keith (Lord Drumdurris), Dillie Keane as Lady Macphail, Nicholas Rowe as the Right Honourable Sir Julian Twombley, Laurence Ubong Williams as Mr. Bernard Lacklustre and Mr. Melting, Romaya Weaver as Lady Effie Vibart, and Matthew Woodyatt as Sir Colin Macphail of Ballocheevin.

The farce, which will run through November 16, will also feature set and costume design by Janet Bird, sound design by George Dennis, musical supervision and composition by Sarah Travis, and movement by Joanna Goodwin.
