Little Women—The Musical, based on Louisa May Alcott's famed novel, launches a new North American tour beginning February 3 in Owensboro, Kentucky, before traveling to more than 50 cities across the United States and Canada.
Directed by Jeffrey B. Moss with choreography by Diane Laurenson, the non-Equity tour features Hannah Taylor as Jo, Rachel Pantazis as Meg, Camryn Hamm as Beth, and Noa Harris as Amy with Aathaven Tharmarajah as Laurie, Aaron Bower as Marmee, Aaron Robinson as John Brooke, Mychal Leverage as Professor Bhaer, Chris Carsten as Mr. Laurence, and Moriel Behar as Aunt March.
Rounding out the company are Sam Belding, Tristan Caldwell, Emily Kate Decker, Sami Kennett, and Elijah Pearson-Martinez. Casting is by Alison Franck
The musical—which follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March, each determined to live life on her own terms—has a book by Allan Knee, music by Jason Howland, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein. The original 2005 Broadway production earned a Tony Award nomination for Sutton Foster's leading performance as Jo.
The tour also has set design by Randel Wright, lighting design by Charlie Morrison, co-sound design by Chase Nichter and Anthony Lopez, and costumes provided by London's Angels Costumes.
