The musical adaptation of Mrs. Doubtfire will make its world premiere at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre this fall, with a Broadway engagement expected to follow.

The production, produced by Kevin McCollum and directed by Jerry Zaks, will run November 26 through December 29, with opening night set for December 13.

The show features a score by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick; the former also penned the book with John O'Farrell. The three previously collaborated on Something Rotten! (which was initially slated to have a pre-Broadway tryout at the Seattle venue before instead fast-tracking its road to New York).

Casting for the Seattle bow will be announced at a later date. A recent reading starred Rob McClure (Broadway's current Beetlejuice), Kate Baldwin, Mario Cantone, and Michael James Scott.

The staging will feature choreography by Lorin Latarro, with Ethan Popp serving as music supervisor.
