News "Monkees" Star Micky Dolenz Sets 54 Below Dates: Video Former "The Monkees" star Micky Dolenz, who played Zoser in the final cast of Broadway's Aida and Wilbur in the London production of Hairspray, will bring his concert show to 54 Below for three shows, July 7, 10 and 11.

Dolenz's show is titled A Little Bit Broadway, A Little Bit Rock and Roll, a takeoff on the classic single from the Monkees, "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You."

Micky Dolenz was one of the stars of the sixties TV show "The Monkees," about a rock-and-roll band. The group sold more than 65 million records, and their albums included "The Monkees," "More of the Monkees," "Headquarters" and "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones, Ltd." Dolenz also starred in the West End musical The Point and later became a producer-director for the BBC and London Weekend Television. In 1996 the Monkees reunited for a 30 year summer tour around the U.S., and Dolenz also directed the hit TV show "Boy Meets World." His other theatre credits include Grease, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Tom Sawyer.
