Broadway veteran Michael Stuhlbarg will take on the role of crime lord, according to Deadline, opposite Bryan Cranston’s respected judge in the new courtroom drama Your Honor.
Based on the Israeli series Kvodo by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, the 10-episode limited series hails from Peter Moffat (Criminal Justice) and Robert and Michelle King (The Good Wife). Set in New Orleans, the show follows Cranston’s judge reeling from a hit-and-run incident involving his son Adam that leads to a high-stakes world of deceit and criminality.
Sofia Black-D’Elia is also joining the cast as Frannie, Adam's girlfriend. The actor recently made her New York Stage debut in Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Usual Girls as part of Roundabout Underground. She is best known for her work on TV’s The Night Of.

Stuhlbarg made his Broadway in the 1993 revival of Saint Joan. He subsequently returned to the Main Stem in Three Men on a Horse, Timon of Athens, The Government Inspector, Taking Sides, the 1998 revival of Cabaret, The Invention of Love, and The Pillowman, for which he earned a Tony Award nomination. Since then, Stuhlbarg has kept primarily to television and film in series like The Looming Tower and in films like Call Me By Your Name and The Shape of Water. Though, this past spring, he did star as the titular role in Socrates at the Public Theater Off-Broadway.
