Broadway’s Future Songbook Series, presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow, will continue February 25 in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.
Produced and hosted by John Znidarsic, the free evening will spotlight the songs of Alex Ratner. The evening will be directed by Jenny Leon with musical direction by Paul Staroba; show time is 6 PM.
Singing the work of Ratner will be Andi Alhadeff (Jasper in Deadland), Kerstin Anderson (My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music), Lauren Nicole Chapman (Frozen, Kinky Boots), James Crichton (Peter and the Starcatcher, Jasper in Deadland), Julian Diaz-Granados (Ruben and Clay's...Reunion Show), Chris Dwan (Finding Neverland), Linedy Genao (On Your Feet!), Coby Getzug (The Book of Mormon, Spring Awakening), Danny Harris Kornfeld (Rent), Cassie Levine, Mary Kate Morrissey (Joan of Arc: Into the Fire, Wicked), Michael Hsu Rosen (Torch Song, On the Town), Talia Thiesfield, Allie Trimm (Bye Bye Birdie, 13: The Musical), Ryan Vona (Once, Paramour), Kathy Voytko (Call Me Madam, Tuck Everlasting).

Ratner’s work includes an adaptation of the novel White Oleander and musical arrangements for Children of Eden, Junior. He is the recipient of the 2016 Jerry Harrington Award and 2017 Jean Banks Award for Salad Days, a ten-minute musical (BMI Foundation). Tyrell, a musical parody prequel to Game of Thrones, about House Tyrell, will be seen at Dixon Place in March.
