Cabaret & Concert News Marc Kudisch and Penny Fuller Announced for Latest Only Even Runs a Minute Concert The next in the series will unearth songs from Hallelujah, Baby!; Mayor, and other obscure musicals.

Tickets are now on sale for the 17th edition of the concert series If It Only Even Runs a Minute, highlighting stories and songs from Broadway’s most “underappreciated musicals,” to be held 9:30 PM January 23, 2018, at Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York City.,

The concert will highlight performance of rare songs, the recounting of behind-the-scenes tales, and a display of archival photos from shows including Tony Award-winning Best Musical Hallelujah, Baby!; plus Mayor, Rex, Buck White, Cleavage, Dark Rosaleen, The Glorious Ones, Gone Missing, The Thing Of It Is, and others to be announced.

Songs from these shows will be performed by Penny Fuller (Tony nominee for Applause and The Dinner Party), Marc Kudisch (Tony nominee for 9 to 5, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Thoroughly Modern Millie), Alex Brightman (Tony nominee for School of Rock, Assassins), Lenny Wolpe (Bullets Over Broadway, Wicked), Devin Ilaw (Miss Saigon, Les Misérables), Taylor Iman Jones (Groundhog Day), Kevin Michael Murphy (The Book of Mormon), Jay Rogers (Once Upon a Mattress, When Pigs Fly), Jason Veasey (The Lion King), and others to be announced.

If It Only Even Runs a Minute concerts are hosted by 54 Below programming director Jennifer Ashley Tepper and Book of Mormon‘s Kevin Michael Murphy, with musical direction by Joshua Zecher-Ross.

Previous installments in the series have explored the rarely heard scores from High Fidelity,Via Galactica, Steel Pier, Baby, Big Fish, The Goodbye Girl, Dude, Your Own Thing, and many others.

Feinstein’s/54 Below is located at 254 West 54th Street, beneath Studio 54, in Manhattan. Tickets, which cost $25 to $60 (plus a $25 food/drink minimum), can be ordered here.
