News Lisa O’Hare and Zizi Strallen Set for Mary Poppins International Tour The Disney musical will play Switzerland and Dubai in 2017.

Casting has been announced for the 2017 international tour of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, which will open at the Theater 11 in Zurich, Switzerland, February 1, 2017, with performances until March 19, 2017. The production will then run at Dubai Opera in Dubai, UAE, May 1-18.

Lisa O'Hare (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder) will play Mary Poppins during the Zurich run, with Zizi Strallen (Merrily We Roll Along) stepping into the role for the Dubai run.

The remainder of the cast will include Matt Lee as Bert, Neil Roberts as George Banks, Penelope Woodman as Miss Andrew, Wendy Ferguson as Mrs. Brill, Grainne Renihan as Bird Woman, Blair Anderson as Robertson Ay, and Kara Lane as Winifred Banks.

Completing the cast are Yves Adang, Ryan Anderson, Jeremy Batt, Abby Bebbington, Jabari Braham, Emily Bull, Sophie Caton, Danielle Delys, Glen Facey, Bradley Gibbins-Klein, Hannah Grace, Lucy Harrison, Graham Hoadly, James Hume, Jason Kajdi, Charlie Kendall, Sam Lathwood, Sean Lopeman, Bryan Mottram, Anna Shircliff, Lucie-Mae Sumner, Anu Ogunmefun, Jo-Lucy Rackham, John Stacey, Christine Tucker, Wreh-Asha Walton, and Scott Waugh.

The international tour is directed by by James Powell with original choreography adapted by Geoffrey Garratt. Musical supervision is by Stephen Brooker.

The stage production has a book by Julian Fellowes, and a score by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. New songs and additional music and lyrics are by the Olivier Award-winning British team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.
