Comedian Lewis Black visited Morning Joe, the MSNBC morning show, to talk Trump, Broadway and his new stand-up show.

The last time comedian Black was on Broadway was in Lewis Black: Running on Empty. Four years later, Black returns to Broadway with Lewis Black: Black to the Future, where he will skewer two presidential candidates. The show has already extended and will now run September 12-October 24.

Black appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to talk about the show and the race for the White House. When comparing his two Broadway shows, one poking fun at then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney and this one making jokes about Trump, Black says that back then “I had to work [to be funny].”

“How do you satirize what is already satiric?” Audiences at the Marriott Marquis will find out.
