Lea Michele, who was last seen on Broadway in the 2022 revival of Funny Girl, will embark on an eight-city tour titled Straight From Carnegie Hall this spring. The tour will feature songs Michele performed on Glee, in Funny Girl, Les Misérables, Spring Awakening, and more, Deadline reports.
Michele will begin the tour in Durham, North Carolina May 5, followed by stops in Nashville, Tennessee; Orlando, Florida; Anaheim, California; Palm Desert, California; Washington, D.C.; Englewood, New Jersey.; and wrapping in Niagra Falls, Ontario.
Michele made her Broadway debut in Les Misérables in 1987, before originating the role of the Little Girl in Ragtime in 1998. In 2006, she gained recognition for her performance as Wendla in the Broadway premiere of Spring Awakening. From 2009-2015, Michele starred as Rachel Berry in Fox's musical comedy-drama series Glee, and earned an Emmy nomination for her performance. In 2022, Michele took over the role of Fanny Brice in Broadway's Funny Girl revival, which marked her first return to the Main Stem since Spring Awakening.
Presale for Michele's solo tour begins March 12 at 10 AM local time, followed by a March 14 general sale.
