Tony nominee L Morgan Lee will offer a concert evening at MCC Theater Space's Newman Mills Theater March 24 at 7 PM ET, part of Carnegie Hall's Woman in Music series. Audiences can expect Lee to sing classic showtunes, songs by new writers, and some deep cuts. She'll also be joined by some special guests, to be announced in the coming weeks.

Lee is best known for her Tony-nominated performance in A Strange Loop. Her nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical made Lee the first openly transgender actor in history to receive a Tony nomination. Lee can be heard singing on Joe Iconis' album, The Rainbow Lullaby AlbumSugar Maple Series, and the Off-Broadway and Broadway cast albums of A Strange Loop.

"To be included in Carnegie Hall's Women in Music means the world to me!” says Lee. “The last time I put together a concert was over 10 years ago. There was freedom in the material, but I was still hiding so much of myself behind it. This will be the first time telling some of these stories with all of the walls down, all of the nuances exposed, and all of the JOY fully realized. I couldn't be more excited (well, excited and scared) and so full of gratitude to the teams at Musical Theatre Factory, National Queer Theater, and MCC for making this evening possible."

The evening is produced by Musical Theatre Factory and National Queer Theater.

Tickets are available at NationalQueerTheater.org.
