
Following William Leach's memorable turn in Shylock, the next show at Philadelphia's Walnut Street Studio Theatre will be Alan Brody's Greytop In Love, Mar. 24-Apr. 5, opening Mar. 25. William Roudebush directs Kim Hunter (A Streetcar Named Desire) in this romantic comedy about a veteran journalist and a young writer competing for a beautiful coworker. Also in the cast are Bob Emmett, Karen Hinton and Jimmy Mount. Other Hunter Broadway credits include The Children's Hour and The Tender Trap.
Designing the show are Bill Pollock (set), Colleen McMillan (costumes) and Joe Levy (lighting).
Also on tap for the Studio theatre's "Season Of Premieres" are:
April 21-May 3: The Gift, a world premiere by Walnut veteran Will Stutts, about a famous novelist giving a childhood friend a leg up in the literary world: by writing a book and allowing her to put her name on it.
May 19-31: By George, a world premiere by Frank Ferrante, playing playwright George S. Kaufman.
