Keegan-Michael Key, Darrell Hammond, and Dick Cavett are the latest to join Audible’s October readings of Billy Crystal and Quinton Peeples’ new play, Have a Nice Day, which will be presented October 7–8 at 8 PM at Off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre, according to Deadline.
The readings, which will be recorded by Audible Inc. for future release, will also feature Tony winner Crystal, Oscar nominee Annette Bening, Oscar winner Kevin Kline, Auli'i Cravalho, Irene Bedard, Chris Cafero, Robin Thede, and Robert King.
In the new play, President David Murray (Kline) starts the day in crisis. He’s lost control of Congress, has to decide whether to run for a second term, and his wife and teenage daughter are barely talking to him. What’s more, the Angel of Death (Crystal) has sent a rather inept “repo man” who is at the foot of his bed, giving him only one more day to live. Cavett will narrate.

Crystal's autobiographical 700 Sundays won the 2005 Tony Award for Special Theatrical Event and both the 2005 Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Outstanding Solo Performance. A return engagement of the solo show, which was subsequently filmed for HBO, played Broadway's Imperial Theatre in 2013.
